BMW M235i Racing by BMW Motorsports are used in the race. This is an entry-level GT race car which is also frequently used for the VLN Endurance Race.
The V1 Racing Cup provides a professional and standardized platform for aspiring new racers and teams, it is the best starting point for drivers to advance to higher levels of GT racing.

BMW M235i Racing
The training car used by V1 Academy is the BMW M235i Racing, a professional factory endurance racing car from BMW. It is an entry-level GT racing car that is very suitable for novices, moderate horsepower and rear wheel drive, allows new drivers to learn a lot of techniques and skills important for driving GT race cars.
The BMW M235i Racing is equipped with an original engine tuned by BMW Motorsport and an 8-speed automatic transmission. The car weighs about 1,400 kg and has 333 horsepower. It is fully fitted out in accordance with FIA safety regulations, including certified roll cages, OMP carbon fiber racing seats, Schorth Racing six-point seat belts, ATL racing fuel tanks, and automatic fire extinguisher system have been installed. Other hardware include Drexler differential lock, PFC high-performance front brake system, KW two-way adjustable shock absorber, H&R springs, etc.
